I am a Cum Laude graduate of Northeastern State University and earned my Master of Arts in Teaching and Leadership at St. Xavier University with a 4.0 grade point average. I have sixteen years teaching experience ranging from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade and seven years of coaching experience in cheerleading, dance, and poms.

Experience

I just completed my tenth year at Manning Elementary School right outside Chicago. I moved to Temecula a few weeks ago. My years at Manning were divided between kindergarten and first grade. Manning is part of an incredible district that continuously strives for greatness through professional development opportunities and initiatives such as complete implementation and training of the Common Core State Standards at every grade level. Prior to Manning, I taught second grade, pre-kindergarten, art, and seventh and eighth grade science and math. I have a current Illinois teaching credential with an endorsement in both early childhood education and elementary education. In addition to my desire to teach, you will find I am a dedicated and driven professional. I always put 100% into everything I do and I feel very confident of my teaching skills. I hope I will be given the opportunity to further contribute to the lives of children and take pride in seeing the children I teach become an asset to their community.

Hobbies

I have been working with children my entire life. I have a passion for teaching and I'm a fifth generation teacher in my family. I am very sensitive to children with special needs and children who require modified instruction. I have been married 12 years and we have a four-year-old son and a six-year-old daughter who light up our lives. Every minute of free time I enjoying being with my family.
